Mount Akrafjall is a beautiful mountain located on the Akranes peninsula on the west coast of Iceland. With a height of 643 m (AMSL) it is a perfect hike to enjoy. The peninsula awakens! The Reykjanes peninsula has been dormant until now so us Icelanders have had a blast hiking up to the newest real estate of our land to investigate. This is how it was the first few weeks of the eruption, enjoy.
